The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund, Inc., established in 1996, provides grants to researchers. These grants are made possible by through the events hosted by individuals and loacal merchants, corporate sponsorships of events hosted by the Carol M. Baldwin Research Fund and through individual donations.

Fundraising activities include special events, United Way, and grant proposals. The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
