Stephanie Curtin presented the Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund with a gift from her first fundraising adventure. Her campaign "Sign for a Cure" was an idea she had to honor her mother a breast cancer survivor.
Stephanie's mom Susan made the t-shirts and Stephanie had friends, family and anyone who donated a $1 sign the shirts. Her goal for this first time event was $243. She presented the Carol Baldwin Fund a check for $1,800 (far beyond her goal) along with the signed t-shirt which hangs proudly in our office.
Stephanie and her mom Susan are already working on her shirts for this year. She plans on making this an annual event. From all of us at the Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund we thank Stephanie and her family for supporting breast cancer research. |

Hug-e-Gram and the Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund, are proud to announce a
collaboration to raise money for their "Today and Tomorrow Program." The Today and Tomorrow Program is designed to save the lives of your loved ones today by early detection, while at the same time finding a cure for breast cancer tomorrow by funding research at Stony Brook. For every $100 donation to the Today & Tomorrow Program the donor selects a
recipient to receive a Hug-E-Gram with the audio message "Early Detection
Saves Lives so don't Bury Your Head in the Sand, Get a mammogram". The
donation also funds research at Stony Brook University Medical Hospital to
find a cure for tomorrow. |
